LOCAL AND PERSONAL.

  Mr. James McElroy, of Barree Forge, this county, died at his 
residence in that place, on the 25th ult., of typhoid fever, in the 83d 
year of his age.  He was highly respected by all who knew him.  A wife 
and five children survive him.
