His death, due to neuralgia of the heart, was very sudden and wholly unexpected. Mr. McNeil was an intelligent and successful tiller of the soil, and during the last few years had been the trusted agent of the East Broad Top Railroad Company, at Three Springs. He was the father of Prof. R. M. McNeil, former county superintendent and Andrew NcNeil merchant at Orbisonia, and two daughters, who, with his wife, survive him.
