TYRONE TOPICS.

  We are requested to announce the death at Chicago, Sunday, April 12, 
1891, of Andrew McPherran, a former resident of Spruce Creek.  He was 
the son of John and Elizabeth McPherran, now deceased, of that place, 
and many years ago emigrated to Chicago where he engaged in business in 
which he was very successful accumulating much of this world's goods.  
He was born January 10, 1822, and at his death was aged 69 years, 3 
months and 2 days, leaving to mourn their great loss, besides his wife, 
three sons and two daughters.  He also had many near relatives and 
friends in this section, the family and their connections being largely 
diffused throughout this district and in other parts of the United 
States.
