W. Madison of 715 Fourth avenue, Juniata, of heart trouble. He was born in Huntingdon county on July 3, 1847, and was a veteran of the Civil war, having been a member of Company M, Ninth regiment of Pennsylvania volunteers. His wife preceded him to the grave a few years ago. The family formerly resided at Birmingham, having moved to Juniata only eight months ago. He was a member of the George Simpson post 44 of the G.A.R. of Huntingdon. The body will be taken to Huntingdon on Thursday where funeral services and interment will take place.
