He fell from a boat on the dam, sank beneath the icy waters and beyond the aid of those who were with him. His body was recovered at an early hour this morning. Miller was aged 19 years and was employed as a track hand by the Pennsylvania Railroad company. With some other companions he was fishing in the Penn Central dam at Warrior Ridge. A net was being used and in some manner while he was looking over the side of the boat he suddenly plunged into the water. He could not be located in the darkness and perished in the icy water. An alarm was at once sounded and a number of men sought for the young man's body. It was discovered near where it went into the water. The unfortunate boy was a son of William D. H. Miller of Warrior Ridge, also employed by the P.R.R. company. He was aged 19 years, had resided all his life in the vicinity of Warrior Ridge and besides his father is survived by three brothers and sisters.
