LOCAL AND PERSONAL.

  Mr. Joseph Miller, a well known German citizen of this city, died at 
his residence, on Oneida street, on Thursday of last week, of typhoid 
fever, aged about 45 years.  He was a laborer and was noted for his 
industrious habits.  He leaves a wife and eight children.
