(DECKER) MILLER For fifty-three years a highly respected resident of Mapleton, Huntingdon county, died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. A. F. Parker, Friday morning at 2:15 o'clock. She had been in failing health for a year. She was the daughter of Daniel and Mary (Webb) Decker and was born at McVeytown on May 23, 1855. She was united in marriage with Jacob F. Miller in 1872 in Mifflin county. He died on Sept. 4, 1892. Surviving are one son and one daughter, J. Melvin Miller and Prudence, wife of A. F. Parker, both of Mapleton, and one brother, Thomas Decker of Huntingdon. Funeral services will be conducted at the Parker home Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in charge of Rev. Chester W. Quimby, pastor of the Mapleton Methodist church, of which she was a member. Interment will be made in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Mapleton. Obituary not dated.
