MILLS Mount Union, March 18. - James Morrison Mills, for many years a resident of Mount Union, but late of Ohio, died at the home of his sister, Mrs. Irvin Minnick, West Chestnut street, Wednesday morning at 2:30 o'clock. His death was very sudden and came as a great shock to his family and friends. While working in Ohio, he contracted a cold and complications developed that caused his death. He visited in Pittsburgh enroute to Mount Union three weeks ago. James Morrison Mills was the son of the late Abraham Morrison and Elizabeth Catharine (Webb) Mills. He was born in Blacklog Valley, June 24, 1898. Thus at the time of death he was aged 38 years, 8 months and 22 days. He never married. James Mills was quite young when his family came to Mount Union and he lived here almost his entire life. He was educated in the public schools of Mount Union. He was a genial, generous boy. Surviving are his sisters and brother, Mrs. Margaret Scarfino of Pittsburgh; Mrs. Raymond Singer, Mount Union; Mrs. Ethel Heaster, Mapleton; Harry Mills and Mrs. Iva Minnick, Mount Union. Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock from the home of the sister, Mrs. Irvin Minnick. Rev. Benjamin of the Pentecostal Church will officiate and interment will be made in the family plot in the I.O.O.F. cemetery at Mount Union. Dunmire Funeral Service.
