Mrs. Maria Agnes Moffett, of Pemberton, widow of John Moffet, died at the home of her daughter, 29 Elin street, Mt. Union, on Monday, of a complication of diseases. Deceased was born at Reading, March 5, 1859 and was united in marriage at Spruce Creek, September 23, 1876 with John Moffett, who preceded her to the grave several years ago. Surviving her passing away are these daughters and sons: Mrs. George Morder, at whose home she died at Mt. Union; Elmer Moffett of Mt. Union,; Mrs. John Bonsell, Chambersburg; Lewis Moffett, Centre Hall and Mrs. George Cupp, Tyrone. Two sisters, namely, Mrs. Benjamin Roth, of Tyrone and Mrs. Anthony Baker, of Philipsburg, New Jersey, also survive. Mrs. Moffett was a member of the Presbyterian Mission church at Pemberton. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday afternoon at two o’clock at Pemberton. Interment at Birmingham. The body maybe viewed late this afternoon and evening at Pemberton.
