ALMA K. NEARHOOF

Of Tyrone RD 4, died yesterday, march 24, 1974, at Tyrone Hospital. She 
was born March 23, 1888, at Warriors Mark, a daughter of I. Scott and 
Lillie (Waite) Buck, and married J. Ernest Nearhoof, who died in 1960. 
Surviving are two children, Elizabeth of Tyrone RD 4 and George of 
Spruce Creek; two grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a sister, 
Mrs. Stanley Oliver of Huntingdon. A son, Scott, died in 1973. Mrs. 
Nearhoof was a member of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church and 
the Warriors Mark-Franklin Volunteer Fire Company Auxiliary. Friends 
will be received in the Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark, after 3 p.m. 
tomorrow and until 2 p.m. Wednesday.
