J. ERNEST NEARHOOF

Of near Warriors Mark, died at his home yesterday noon after an extended 
illness.  He was born at Warriors Mark Sept. 22, 1883, a son of Levi and Emma 
(Ganoe) Nearhoof, and married Alma Buck.  Surviving are his wife, three 
children, Scott of Spring Mount, George of Tyrone RD 4 and Elizabeth at the 
home; two grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. George Peters of Philipsburg 
and Mrs. James Oliver, Sr. of Graysville.  He was a member of the Warriors 
Mark Methodist Church, singing for a number of years in the choir and 
quartet, a member of the Tyrone Elks and a retired farmer.  Friends will be 
received at the Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark, after 7 p.m. today.
