Mrs. Juniata Miller Nearhoof, wife of James B. Nearhoof, of Warriorsmark, died yesterday morning at 4 o'clock. She was born April 3, 1854, in Bald Eagle valley and has been a resident of Warriorsmark valley for the past sixty-five years. In 1900 she became the wife of James B. Nearhoof, being married at Philipsburg and making their home at Warriorsmark. She was a faithful member of the Warriorsmark Methodist Episcopal church, honored and loved by all its members and the people of the community. Her husband, James B. Nearhoof of Warrriorsmark; one sister, Mrs. Margaret McCulley, of Lahaska, Pa., and one brother, Howard Miller, of Seattle, Wash., survive her. Death came as a result of an attack of influenza which had left her in a weakened condition and from which she had never recovered since October last. Burial will be held from her late residence at Warriorsmark, funeral services at 10 o'clock Monday morning, and interment in the Warriorsmark cemetery.
