All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm __________________________________________ Killed While Coasting Clarence Stuart Neff Hit By Sled on Saturday Saturday morning at 11 o'clock, Clarence Stuart Neff, the seven year old son of Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Neff of Warrior's Mark, met with a coasting accident that resulted in his death twenty-four hours afterwards. The lad with a number of other companions was coasting on a hill near the old Neff homestead, when a cutter came down the hill at a rapid rate and hit the boy in the stomach. He was fatally injured internally and died on Sunday morning at 10:36 o'clock. Surviving to mourn the lad's death are his parents, one brother, Wilfred, and a sister, Lillian. Clarence was an extremely bright little fellow and was the leader of a large circle of little friends. He was a member of the Presbyterian and Methodist Sunday schools and recently received two gold pins for continuous attendance during the year 1915. He will be wonderfully missed in the in the home, as he was a boy loved by all who knew him. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday morning at the home at 10:30 o'clock, conducted by Rev. Mr. Keboch, of the Methodist church, of Warrior's Mark. Interment in Warrior's Mark cemetery. Tyrone Daily Herald, Tyrone, Pa., January 3, 1916
