NEFF.

  Edwin D. Neff, son of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Neff of Alexandria, Pa., 
and a nephew of Dr. E. E. Neff of Eighth avenue, died at a base 
hospital in Louisiana, Oct. 3, according to word reaching here on 
Saturday.  The young man was with the troops guarding the canal zone 
until some time ago, when he was transferred to Louisiana.  The remains 
will be sent to his home for interment.
