"Rich" Neil, 72 of 2184 Pennington Road, Warriors Mark died Thursday Nov. 4, 2004 at 6:45 p.m. at his home. He had been in failing health since March. He was born May 8, 1932 in Tyrone, a son of the late Horace L. and Jessie (Fagley) Neil. He was married to Beverly M. Burket on March 6, 1953 in Three Springs Methodist Church by the Rev. Kenneth Burket. Surviving is his wife, a son Steven L. of Deltona, FL; three sisters: Dorothy Lord of Ticonderoga, NY, Betty Gross of Cape Coral, FL and Maxine Jacobs of Aspen, CO and two brothers: Gene of Lewes, DE and Horace L. Sr. of Tyrone. Mr. Neil retired in 1996 as head engineer at Elco Corp., Huntingdon, following 32 years of service. He was previously employed at Balastic Laboratories, Cumberland, MD as a draftsman for four years. He was a 1952 graduate of Tyrone High School and was educated as a draftsman by the International Correspondence School, Scranton; he also attended classes at Penn State University and in Pittsburgh. He was a member of the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church and Tyrone Elks # 212. He enjoyed boating and fishing at Glendale Lake. Memorial services will be held Saturday, Nov. 13, 2004 at 11 a.m. at the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church with Pastor Peggy Bonsell officiating. There will be no viewing or visitation. Memorial gifts may be made to the Warriors Mark United Methodist Church, Epworth Manor Care Assurance Fund, 951 Washington Ave., Tyrone, PA 16686 or to Home Nursing Agency, 900 Bryan St., Huntingdon, PA 16652.
