All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm __________________________________________ Mary Anna Memetz [sic] Mrs. Mary Anna Nemetz, 90, who resided at Hill Valley, Mount Union R.D. with her son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Wilson, died at her home Tuesday, November 27, 1973 at 11:55 a.m. She has been seriously ill for the past six years. She was born November 5, 1883 in Czechoslovakia, and came to America in 1902. In 1903, she was united in marriage to Joseph T. Nemetz at Braddock. The couple moved to a farm in Hill Valley in 1913 where they lived until his death in 1947. Surviving are the following children: Mrs. Stanley (Anna) Ballas and Mrs. John (Helen) Hutnik, both of Guttenberg, NJ; Mrs. David (Veronica) Covacs, Lyndhurst, NJ; Mrs. Casper (Josephine) Danish, Mrs. Raymond (Kathryn) Wilson and Mrs. Ralph (Mary) Pollock, all of Mount Union, R. D. and Mrs. John (Pauline) Cimolic, Bayonne, NJ. Two children preceded her in death. There are 20 grandchildren and 44 great-grandchildren. Mrs. Nemetz was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She was a member of the St. Catherine's Roman Catholic Church, Mount Union and for many years had been a member of the Rosary Society. Funeral mass will be celebrated Saturday, December 1, at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine's church. Father Paul Thomas will be the celebrant. Interment will be made in St. Catherine's Cemetery at Shirleysburg, R.D. Friends may call the Heath funeral home, Mount Union from noon until 9 p.m. Friday and on Saturday from 9 until 10:30 a.m. Wake services will be conducted a the funeral home at 8 o'clock Friday evening.
