As the result of a stroke of paralysis suffered on Sunday, December 10, James Irvin Norris, a saddler died at this home in Huntingdon on Sunday afternoon at 2.27 o'clock. Mr. Norris was the son of Luden and Anna M. Morris, and was born September 7, 1868. On December 24, 1894, he was united in marriage to Miss Ida Mary Shultz. Besides his wife and one son, Oliver Norris and a daughter, Miss Lillian Mae Norris, and his parents, Mr. Norris is survived by several sisters and brothers, including George T. and Isaac Y.?, both of this city; and Harry L. Norris, of Tyrone. He was highly respected in the community, and one of the oldest members of the Municipal band of Huntingdon, having been a member for twenty-seven years. The funeral will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at Huntingdon. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, December 19, 1916
