MRS. ELLA N. OLIVER 
 
  Mrs. Ella Nearhoof Oliver, Spruce Creek, died at Philipsburg State 
Hospital yesterday at 9 p.m.
  She was born March 18, 1892, at Warriors Mark, the daughter of Levi 
and Emma Ganoe Nearhoof.   She was married Sept. 28, 1926 to James S. 
Oliver Sr., who survives, with two sons,  James  S. Oliver Jr.. 
Hollidaysburg and Robert Oliver, Spruce Creek, and a daughter, Mrs. 
James Lake, Pennsylvania Furnace;  a sister, Mrs. Margaret Peters, 
Philipsburg, and seven grandchildren.  
  She was a member of the Upper Spruce Creek Presbyterian Church, and 
the Order of Eastern Star 288, Tyrone.
  Funeral service will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at the Upper Spruce Creek 
Presbyterian Church, in charge  of the Rev. Donald R. Davis.  Burial 
will be in Graysville Cemetery.  There will be no public visitation and 
friends are requested to please omit flowers.  Those desiring may 
contribute to the Huntingdon County Cancer Society.
