A. Palmer, aged 38 years, 2 months and nine days. Was buried at the Dunkard cemetery [George is buried in the Keota Cemetery, Keota, IA], Monday the 30th. The Funeral sermon will be preached at the M. E. church in this place February 12th at 10.45 a.m. by Rev. R. L. Patterson. Deceased was born in Huntingdon Co. Pa., Nov. 20th, 1849. He enlisted Co. G. of the 100 Regiment of Pa., Volunteers, Jan. 31st, 1865 was discharged from the U.S. Service July 24th, 1865. Was married to Isabella Copenhaver April 25th, 1872 and by this marriage have one daughter and three sons, who with the wife are left to mourn the loss of an affectionate father and loving husband.
