Joseph Park, of Cass township, died at his home in Richwood, Iowa, on the 27th ult., aged 79 years, 9 months and 25 days. He was born and raised in Cass township, where he resided until 1850, when he removed to Iowa, and purchased the farm upon which he died. For forty-five years he was a consistent member of the M. E. church, and was highly respected as a citizen wherever known. His wife, at the age of 76, and five daughters, survive him, all of whom, save one, were present at his funeral.
