He was a son of James and Barbara Parks, both deceased, and was aged at time of death about 46 years. He was a farmer by occupation and resided all his life in that locality. He is survived by his wife and eight children: Burley Parks, of Juniata township; Ethel, wife of Roy Hamer, of McConnellstown; Nelson, in training at Bethlehem; Della, of Akron, Ohio; Hannah, Carl, Myrtle and Mary Parks, all at home. He is also survived by the following brothers: Samuel Parks, of Juniata township; John Parks, of Williamsburg, and Joseph Parks, of Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted on Thursday at 2.30 p.m. by his pastor, Rev. Mousley, of the Missionary Alliance, with interment in the White Church cemetery.
