PARSONS Virginia A. Parsons, 62, of Blairs Mills, died Monday, Feb. 24, at Leader Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Chambersburg. Born May 28, 1923, at Blairs Mills R.D., she was a daughter of the late Lester E. and Grace Linn Parsons. Miss Parsons was a member of St. Lukes United Methodist Church, Shade Gap, and was a member of the United Methodist Women's Association. She was a graduate of Orbisonia High School. She was retired and had worked at the Masonic Home, Elizabethtown. Miss Parsons is survived by four sisters and four brothers, Mrs. Daryl (Lorma) Bebernes, Fairmont, Minn., Ellsworth H. Parsons, Shade Gap, Mrs. George (Gracie) Goshorn, Shamokin Dam, Chester R. Parsons, Robert W. Parsons and Earl E. Parsons, Blairs Mills R.D., Mrs. James (Eleanor) Fogal, Neelyton, and Mrs. Robert (Jeanette) St. Clair, Blairs Mills, with whom Miss Parsons had made her home, and a number of nieces and nephews. Services were held Tuesday at the John L. Agett Funeral Home, Dry Run, with the Rev. Bruce Bardine officiating. Interment was in Salem Cemetery, Tell Township, Huntingdon County. Contributions in memory of Miss Parsons may be made to St. Luke's United Methodist Church.
