A Mass of Christian Burial was celebrated April 2 at Holy Guardian Angels Church. Entombment was in Gethsemane Cemetery Mausoleum, Laureldale. He was the husband of Grace E. (Villani) Perta. Born in San Marco, Italy, he was the son of the late Michael and Rachel (Guliana) Perta. Also surviving is a son, Michael of Dearborn, Mich., and a daughter, Rachel (Perta) Cammarano of Laureldale. Other survivors include five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. Mr. Perta was employed for 31 years as a tailor by L. Grief and Brothers in Mount Union and was a self-employed tailor at his residence for 31 years, up until the day he died. He was a member of Holy Guardian Angels Roman Catholic Church, Hyde Park.
