ELLA M. PIPER
 
  Ella M. Piper, Alexandria, died Wednesday at the Yohn Convalescing 
Home, Lewistown.  She had been in failing health for several years. She 
was a guest at the home for a month.
  She was born Aug. 14, 1871, at Alexandria, the daughter of Nicholas 
and Susan Hoffman Piper. She was never married.  She is survived by a 
niece, Mrs. Mae Graffius, Alexandria, and a nephew, Chester Spyker, 
Centre Hall.  She was a member of Christ Church, Alexandria.
  Funeral service will be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at the Grove funeral 
home, Alexandria, with the Rev. George Shultz, Jr., officiating.  
Burial will be in Alexandria Presbyterian cemetery.  Friends will be 
received at the funeral home after 2 p.m. Saturday and until the hour 
of service.
