Price, Birmingham, died yesterday at his home after an extended illness. He was born April 4, 1877 at Black Log Valley, Huntingdon County, the son of Alexander and Esther Morgan Price. On July 17, 1901 at Birmingham, he was married to Fannie A. Baker. He had been a lifelong resident of this area. Surviving is the widow, a daughter, Mrs. Dewey Barclay, Tyrone RD 1; four grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren; a half-sister, Mrs. Phoebe Gregory, Harrisburg. A son, Calvin C., died in 1945. He was of the United Brethren faith. He was a member of the Blazing Arrow Fire Co., and prior to his retirement 18 years ago, was a carpenter by trade. Funeral service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. at the Graham and Getz Funeral Home, in charge of the Rev. Eugene McCahan of Port Royal. Burial will be in Charlottsville Cemetery. Friends will be received at the funeral home after 7 p.m. tomorrow.
