A former Maddensville resident, Mrs. Elizabeth Ramsey, of Altoona, R.D. 4, died 
at 11:30 p.m., Monday, August 12, 1957, at the Altoona Hospital. She had been 
ill for three weeks.

Mrs. Ramsey was born August 22, 1895, at Altoona, a daughter (NOTE: Newspaper 
error stated “son”) of David and Ellen (Kopp) Russler. She was married to 
Charles Ramsey who preceded her in death.

The deceased was preceded in death by one daughter. She is survived by two 
sisters. She was a member of the Maddensville Church of God.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 15, at 1:30 p.m., at the 
Maddensville Church of God.  The Rev. Paul Bell of Saltillo will officiate. 
Interment will be made in the cemetery adjoining the church. Friends may call 
at the House funeral home at Hustontown this evening from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m.
