The funeral was held Feb. 25 at the Roman Catholic Church of the Immaculate Conception in Jacksonville, where his family had been long- time members. Born June 29, 1916, he was the son of Minnie Blanche Duffy Repper and Edward Martin Repper. (Edward Repper at various times owned a livery stable, clay mine and an insurance agency in Orbisonia and the surrounding area. Members of the Duffy and Repper families had lived near Orbisonia since the early 1800s.) Mr. Repper is survived by his son, William Dominick Repper Jr. of Clearwater, Fla., and two daughters, Ginny Repper Phipps of Raleigh, N.C., and Sharon Repper Rountree of Charlotte, N.C. A sister, Mary Heekin, and a brother, Edward Repper, both of Jacksonville, Fla., also survive. Mr. Repper's family moved to Florida when he was in his teens. He later owned a neighborhood tavern in Jacksonville, served in the Navy during World War II, was a welder and member of the Carpenter's Union. The Valley Log, Orbisonia, Pa., March 6, 2002
