All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm _______________________________________________ AGED RESIDENT OF HUNTINGDON COUNTY DIES (Special to Altoona Mirror) HUNTINGDON, Aug. 20 - Mrs. Elizabeth Ribblet, aged 91, of McConnellstown died at 10.30 o'clock Saturday night in the J.C. Clair Memorial hospital. She had fallen and suffered a fractured arm Aug. 11. She was born in McConnellstown April 16, 1860, a daughter of John and Susie Coulter and was the last surviving member of a family of five children. On Dec. 27, 1905, she married George Francis Ribblet and resided in Johnstown until his death in 1935, when she returned to McConnellstown. Mrs. Ribblet was a member of the McConnellstown Methodist church, Ladies' Aid society and the auxiliary to the B. of R.T., in Johnstown. She is survived only by nieces and nephews, among them Mrs. Charles F. Skelly, Mrs. Lester Berry and Mrs. Mary Rose of Altoona and Ralph Isenberg of Duncansville.
