All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm __________________________________________ Mrs. Lodema (Holliday) Right Mrs. Lodema (Holliday) Right, widow of John Right, died at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse McGarvey at Shirleysburg, Monday night, April 10, 1044, at 10:10 o'clock after an illness of three years. She was born February 15, 1855, at Dry Run, Franklin County, the daughter of Samuel and Elizabeth (McElhenney) Holliday. She was the last member of her family. She was united in marriage January 18, 1909, at York, Pa., and they established their first home at Belington, West Virginia, where Mr. Right was a building contractor. He served in the Civil War with a fine service record. He passed away in 1924. Following his death, Mrs. Right came to Shirleysburg to reside and had been living at the McGarvey home for some time. Mrs. Right was a member of the Spring Run Presbyterian Church, where funeral services will be held, on Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock. Interment will be made in the Presbyterian Cemetery there in charge of the Reverend Mr. Brown, a retired minister, and the Reverend Ralph Hand, pastor of the church.
