RILING Of Huntingdon RD 2, died at 4:15 p.m. yesterday, July 9, 1975, at J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital, Huntingdon, following a brief illness. Mr. Riling retired in 1969 after 51 years as a stone mason contractor. He was born Nov. 22, 1903, in Union Furnace, a son of Franklin H. and Anna (Keenan) Riling, and married Elsie Deliah Hoffer on July 24, 1925, at Spruce Creek. Surviving are his wife, six children, Harry F. of Petersburg RD 1, Alfred E., Edward B. and Mrs. Margaret Hawn of Huntingdon RD 2, Mrs. Helen M. Isenberg of Alexandria and Mrs. Duella C. Thompson of Milwaukee, Wis.; 16 grandchildren, Mrs. Riling's brother and sister, C. W. Hoffer of Tyrone RD 1, and Mrs. Mary Steele of Tyrone RD 4, who were raised in the home, and a brother and three sisters, Ralph of Bellwood, Mrs. Helen Mayes of Altoona, Mrs. Annie Butterbaugh of Wooster, Ohio, and Mrs. Pauline Kaloff of Duncansville. Mr. Riling was a member of the Manor Hill Methodist Church. Friends will be received in the Robert I. Grove Funeral Home, Alexandria, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. tomorrow and 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.
