RODKEY Raymond Raleigh Rodkey, Warriors Mark, died yesterday at 9 a.m. in Altoona Veterans Hospital after an extended illness. He was born Oct. 3, 1893, in Huntingdon County, the son of Jesse M. and Rebecca Gray Rodkey. On June 1, 1921, he was married to Ethel Chronister, who survives, as does a brother, Jesse, and several nieces and nephews. He was a member of the Spring Mount Church of the Brethren. He served in World War I and attained the rank of second lieutenant. He retired from the U.S. Marine Corps in 1944, and from the Civil Service in 1956. Funeral service will he held Saturday at 2:30 p.m. at the Spring Mount Church of the Brethren, in charge of the Rev. Eugene Miller, former pastor of the church. Burial will be in Spring Mount Cemetery. Friends will be received at the Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark, after 2 p.m. tomorrow and until noon on Saturday and thereafter at the church until the time of service.
