Mrs. Mae Alta Rutter, of Orbisonia died on Thursday afternoon, April 20 1964, 
in the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital.  She had been seriously ill for three 
weeks prior to her death.  Born on April 3, 1889 in Clearfield County, she was 
the daughter of Jonathan and Antoinette (Green) Kephart.  She married Calvin 
Rutter of Cromwell Township on December 26, 1905.  He preceded her in death on 
January 22, 1943.  The following children survive: Mrs. Roy (Ethel) Baker, 
Huntingdon R.D. 1; Earl; Mrs. Harold (Hazel) Varner and Mrs. Stanley 
(Margaret) Dell all of Pheonixville; Mrs. William (Grace) Shope, Shade Gap; 
Mrs. Lehman (Iva) Wilson, Mapleton R. D. 1; Ralph, Huntingdon and Paul, 
Kimberton.  Also surviving are ?? grandchildren, 46 great-grandchildren and 
the following brothers and sisters: Lionel Kephart, Rockhill Furnace; Mrs. 
Edith Shope, Saltillo; Beulah Beach, Ohio; Mrs. Florence Wasson, Calvin 
Kephart, all of Akron Ohio and Mrs. Blanche Couch, Pittsburgh.  Mrs. Kephart 
was a member of the McKendree Methodist Church in Cromwell Township.  The 
funeral services will be held on Sunday Afternoon, May 3 at four o'clock at the 
Ott Funeral Home in Orbisonia.  The Rev. Belvy White of the Ridge Assembly of 
God Church will officiate and interment will me made in the Rockhill I.O.O.F. 
Memorial Cemetary.  Friends may call at the funeral home on Friday evening 
after 7 o'clock until 12 noon on Sunday
