Sanderson of 518 Mifflin street, died Saturday morning [May 4] from a cerebral hemorrhage at the home of her daughter, Mrs. James C. Poffenberger, in Cleveland, O., where she had gone several weeks ago for a visit. Mrs. Sanderson was a lifelong resident of Huntingdon and belonged to one of the pioneer families of the Juniata valley, being of the fifth generaton to spend her lifer here. She was a member of the St. James Lutheran church and the Daughters of the American Revolution. She is the last of her family. Two daughters survive, Mrs. Cloyd A. Shuss of Baltimore, Md., and Mrs. James O. Poffenberger of Cleveland, O., also five grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted from the home at 518 Mifflin street this afternoon at 3.30 o'clock, by Rev. Dr. Edmund L. Manges of St. James Lutheran church. Burial was made in the Riverview cemetery. She was a sister of the late W. Garertson Miller of Altoona.
