SCHLEGEL

  Mrs. Jay Schlegel died at her home in Alexandria, on Wednesday, Oct. 
30, at 6 a.m. from the effects of Spanish influenza.  She is survived 
by her husband and four children, also by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. 
Wagner, and one brother, of Mount Union.  Funeral services were 
conducted at her late home on Friday, Nov. 1, by the Rev. W. E. 
Stewart, pastor of the Presbyterian church of Alexandria, of which the 
deceased was a member.  Interment at Alexandria.
