MRS. MATTIE SCOTT

  Mrs. Mattie Scott, of 3918 Fourth avenue, South Altoona, wife of 
Winfield Scott, died at the Altoona hospital at 8 o'clock yesterday 
morning of hemorrhages.  She was born at Huntingdon 38 years ago.  Mrs. 
Scott was a member of the Methodist Episcopal church.  Besides her 
husband she is survived by her mother, one sister and one brother, all 
residing in Huntingdon.  The remains will be taken to Huntingdon this 
afternoon, where the funeral will be held with interment in Riverview 
cemetery.
