Sechrist, superintendent of the Mount Union Refractories company, died at his home in Mount Union on Sunday, Oct. 20th from the effects of Spanish influenza and pneumonia, being aged at time of death 35 years, 6 months and 5 days. The body was prepared for burial by Undertaker Dunmire. On Tuesday evening, at 7.30, the Rev. J. W. Shannon conducted short services at the late residence, after which the body was shipped to McClure, Pa., where services were conducted and interment made on the day following. He is survived by his wife and five children, Albert, Myra, Rosswel, Edna and Jessie. Altoona Times, Altoona, Pa., Saturday Morning, October 26, 1918
