Seeger Jr., age 64, of 3865 Warriors Mark Path, Warriors Mark, died December 3, 2005 unexpectedly at his home. He was born February 10, 1941 in Bellefonte, the son of Rachel Jane (Leitzell) and Gerald Christian Seeger Sr., both deceased. On September 30, 1961 at Spring Mount Church of the Brethren he married Freda Jane Parsons, who survives. He is also survived by two sons: Gerald Bruce and wife Patty of Warriors Mark and Gregory Ernest and wife Barbara of Warriors Mark; three grandsons: Michael Aaron, Kyle Christian and Ryan Christian; a sister, Nancy and husband Warren Hale of York and a brother, Allen K. Seeger of Port Matilda. He was preceded in death by an infant son and brother H. Roy Seeger. He was a graduate of Bald Eagle Area High School class of 1959, a member of the Spring Mount Church of the Brethren, the Warriors Mark- Franklin Volunteer Fire Company where he served as Fire Police Captain for 15 years, member of Free and Accepted Masonic Lodge No. 494, the Altoona Jaffa Shrine Club and the Altoona Consistory. Also, he was past president of the Port Matilda Sportsman Association, past president of the Centre Co. Federation of Sportsmen and served on the State College Federal Credit Union Board. He worked at Westvaco Corp. in Tyrone from 1960 to 1968 and then for the Pennsylvania Air National Guard 112th A.C.S. State College, retiring in 1998 following 39 years of service. Funeral service will be December 7, 2005 at 11 a.m. at Spring Mount Church of the Brethren with Rev. Warren MacEachern officiating. Friends will be received at the Bruce E. Cox Funeral Home, Warriors Mark, on Tuesday from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. and on Wednesday, from 10 a.m. until the time of services at 11 a.m. at the church.
