All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm http://www.usgwarchives.net/pa/pafiles.htm __________________________________________ A Sister of Mrs. Silknitter Mrs. David Rohm died at her home at 416 Moore street, Huntingdon, on Sunday evening at 5.15 o'clock from congestion of the liver. She was born in Perry county in 1838 and was about 71 years of age at the time of her death. Deceased has lived her entire life in Huntingdon where she has been well known. She was a lifelong and consistent member of the Methodist Episcopal church. Her maiden name was Bathsheba Martin. Fifty-one years ago on December 23rd, she was united in marriage to David Rohm of Huntingdon who survives her. Besides her husband Mrs. Rohm leaves two children: Mrs. James Corbin of Huntingdon and Mrs. Mollie Shirley residing at the home of her parents; Mrs. Elizabeth Colestock of Huntingdon; Mrs. Aribella Silknitter, of Tyrone; and Mrs. Mary Snyder of Bellwood are sisters of the deceased. The funeral services were conducted by Mrs. Rohm's pastor, the Rev. J. S. Souser. In addition to the husband, daughters and sisters, Mr. Rohm leaves to mourn her, six grandchildren.
