Singleton, who died Aug. 9, 1938, died at her home on North Tuckahoe Street, Tyrone, Thursday afternoon, April 28, 1960 , at 3 o'clock after a brief illness. She was born May 2, 1875, in Greenwood Furnace, the daughter & Harry and Sarah McCardle Monsell. Surviving are these children: Eugene, of Chesilhurst, N. J.; Richard of McVeytown; Edward of Avon Park, Fla., Frank of Bellwood, George of Montgomery, Ala.; William of Clearfield, Mrs. Clair Root of Bellwood, Mrs. Robert Confer, Tyrone, Mrs. Mary Mahoney and Mrs. Minnie Kennedy of Erie; also two brothers, John and Edward Monsell of Huntingdon, R. D., two sisters, Mrs. Fannie Wilson and Miss Minnie Monsell of Lewistown. Also surviving are 12 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and six great great grandchildren.
