Deceased was the daughter of William W. and Sarah E. Culbertson, the latter deceased, and was born in Allensville on Oct. 30, 1870; being aged at time of death, 47 years, 5 months and 25 days. She was united in marriage to James B. Sleeman, a machinist, about 26 years ago. She spent her entire single and married life in Huntingdon, where she was well known and highly respected. She was a consistent member of the Lutheran church, and always an active worker in its various departments; having been a teacher in the Sunday school for many years until her failing health compelled her to give up active work in the church. She is survived by her husband and two daughters, Mrs. Sarah, wife of W. J. Karlheim, and Mrs. Helen, wife of William Porter, both residents of Huntingdon. She is also survived by her father, who since the death of Mrs. Culbertson, had been making his home with her, and by two sisters, and one brother, Mrs. Rachel, wife of Edward Ride, of Harrisburg; Mrs. Chestie, wife of Stewart Linton, and William J. Culbertson, both of Huntingdon. Funeral services were conducted from her late residence on Saturday afternoon at 2.30 by her pastor, Rev. F. R. Wagner, with interment in Riverview cemetery.
