E. Williams, in West Township, on Thursday evening, May 12 at 5:10 o'clock, after an illness of several years of a complication of diseases incident to old age. She was born in Mifflin County, November 6, 1844, a daughter of David Lindsay and Annie (Taylor) Lindsay, both deceased. At the time of her death she was aged 87 years, 6 months and 6 days. Practically all her life she has been a resident of Shavers Creek valley. Her husband preceded her in death, June 11, 1929. Mrs. Snyder was a consistent member of the Mooresville Methodist Episcopal church. Surviving are the following sons and daughters, W. E. Snyder, of Hollidaysburg; Louis Snyder, of South Fork; John R. Snyder, of Kingsport, N.Y.; Walter Snyder, of Huntingdon; Mrs. W. H. Brown, of Mattawanna; Mrs. J. E. Williams, of Mooresville. Also surviving are the following brothers and sisters, Mrs. Harriet Etnier, Mrs. Alice Hoffman and John Lindsay, all of San Diego, Calif.; Theodore Lindsay and Mrs. Elizabeth Bennett, of Charleroi; Mrs. Frances Ramus, of Blanchard, Pa. and Mrs. Clara Moffitt, of Altoona. Funeral services will be held at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.E. Williams, on Saturday afternoon at 3 o'clock, conducted by her pastor, Rev. Joseph Rigby, of the Mooresville M. E. Church.
