Things Briefly Told.

  John Spielman died at the residence of W. P. Orbison, Esq., in 
Huntingdon, on Wednesday morning, in the 81st year of his age.  He was 
born on the first day of this century and when a child removed from 
Maryland with his mother to Newry, Blair county.  He went with Robert 
Moore to Huntingdon from Spruce Creek, and lived in the Orbison family 
for about 33 years.  He had been afflicted for several years with 
dropsy, and was kindly cared for during his illness.
