Sponeybarger Mrs. Meda Kelly Sponeybarger of 1115 Moore Street, Huntingdon, died in the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital at 3:30 on Tuesday, May 29, 1945, after an illness of one and a half years. She had been a patient in the hospital for one month. She was born in Juniata Township on August 12, 1889, the daughter of Addison Kelly and Jennie Bush Kelly, both of whom preceded her in death. Her husband Harry Sponeybarger died on June 7, 1941. Surviving are one son, Sgt. Richard Sponeybarger, stationed at Newport, Ark.; and two brothers and a sister: William Kelly, Huntingdon; Chalmer Kelly, Mill Creek; and Mrs. Arthur Ohmann, Montreal, Can. Mrs. Sponeybarger had been a resident of Huntingdon for twenty-eight years. She was a member of the Fifteenth Street Methodist Church. The funeral service will be held at the late home on Friday afternoon at 3 o'clock, the Rev. J. Frederic Moore officiating. Interment will be made in Hawn's Bridge Cemetery by Temple service.
