STAIR.

  Charles C. Stair, one our most popular young townsmen, died 
yesterday, of pneumonia, aged 27 years.  He was identified with the 
Bayer-Beaver Co. for a long time, and in January last signed up with E. 
A. Beaver Co., of Mt. Union.  July 23, 1917, he was united in marriage 
in Pittsburgh with Miss Beatrice Meehau, of Tyrone.  To this union one 
daughter was born, Mary Jane.  Besides the young wife, the deceased is 
survived by two brothers, William of Frostburg, Md., and Harry of 
Altoona.  His parents preceded him to the grave.
