Mrs. Charlotte Stewart, an aged and respected woman, and a member of what was once a leading family in Miller township, this county, is reported dead. Her years numbered 85. She died in the home that has been in the possession of the Stewart family for more than a hundred years. Her death was caused by paralysis. She was a devout member of the Methodist Episcopal church, believing in the old style of Methodism. Her husband died at an advanced age in 1877. These children survive her: Thomas, Reno, Nevada; Joe, Colorado; Mrs. John Myers, Defiance, Ohio; Sarah, Maria, Caroline and Frank, at home. Also these step-children: W. W. Stewart, California; Robert, Oregon; Mrs. Robert Stewart, Michigan, and Mrs. Margart [sic] Burns, Fairmont, Va. Her funeral will occur to-morrow morning at 10.30 o'clock, the burial to take place at Manor hill.
