LOCAL AND PERSONAL.

  Mrs. Eliza H. Stitt, for many years a resident of this city, died at 
the residence of her niece, Mrs. B. F. Riddle, in Bloomsburg, Columbia 
county, Pa., on Thursday evening of last week, in the 79th years of her 
age.  Her remains were interred at Bloomsburg on Saturday afternoon.
