He was employed as locomotive engineer in the yards at the P.R.R. Co. at Altoona, Pa. His remains were brought to Huntingdon on "Atlantic" on Friday morning and thence taken to Marklesburg for burial. Funeral services were held in the Reformed church at Marklesburg, the sermon being preached by his pastor, Rev. Robb of Altoona. He leaves a young wife and little girl, besides his father, brother, and four sisters. Mr. Stone was held in high esteem by all those who knew him. New Era Journal, Wednesday, December 7, 1904
