He came to the hospital from his home in Dudley. He was a retired mine foreman and a member of the Methodist church and the Coalmont lodge of the I.O.O.F. He is survived by his wife and six sons and four daughters, as follows: Mrs. Ida Hess, Mrs. Flora Abbott, Miss Irene and Leonard S., all of Dudley; Chester, of Robertsdale; Mrs. Bertha Wheeling, of Penfield; Jack E., of Greensburg; William H., of Blairsville and George E. and Howard R. of this city. He is also survived by four sisters. The remains were taken to Dudley at 3:20 o'clock yesterday afternoon, where the funeral will be held at a time to be announced later.
