The Tomb.

SWOOPE. - In Union township, on the 21st ult., at the residence of her 
son William, Mrs. Ann E., widow of Caleb Swoope, dec'd., who died at 
the same place Dec. 26, 1860.
  Deceased was aged 65 years, 4 months and 22 days, twenty-five years 
of which time she had been a consistent member of the Lutheran church.  
She leaves one son, William, and three daughters, Mrs. Currance Hudson 
and Mrs. Sarah Miller, of Hill Valley, and Mrs. Ella Meirley, of Porter 
township.  Deceased was a daughter of Mr. Abm. Dean, late of Penn 
township, deceased.
