  Paul D. Swope, 64, of Donahue Manor Home, Bedford, and formerly of New 
Enterprise, died Saturday, June 3, 2006 at the home.
  Born July 2, 1941 in Huntingdon, he was a son of the late Paul R. and Faye 
(Houp) Swope.  He was twice married:  first to the former Connie Heart and 
later to the former Beverly Weitzel, June 30, 1986.  Mrs. Swope survives.
  Mr. Swope is also survived by a daughter and a son, Debra Albright and 
Dwayne Swope, both of Bedford; and two stepchildren, Wendy McDonald, 
Breezewood, and Glen Weitzel, New Enterprise; and five grandchildren.
  Mr. Swope was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
  He was a member of the Jaycees.
  Mr. Swope was a graduate of Huntingdon High School.
  Prior to his illness, he worked as a truck driver with Gablers, 
Chambersburg.
  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.
  Funeral services and interment will be held at the convenience of the 
family. 
  Memorial contributions may be made to Donahue Manor, Bedford, PA  15522.
  Arrangements are under the direction of the S. Gerald Weaver Funeral Home, 
Woodbury.
